Stefanie Verish is a graduate of Ohio Wesleyan University, where she majored in studio art and minored in botany and zoology. Since high school she admired the work of wildlife artists like Robert Bateman, and after earning her Bachelor’s Degree, became a naturalist-artist. Her favorite subjects combine artistic expression with the natural world and all its wonders.

 

Versed in a variety of media, including graphite, chalk pastel, oil pastel, graphite, charcoal, colored pencil, pen and ink, watercolor, and acrylics, Stefanie also uses her skills as a freelance artist, completing murals, pet portraits, and other commissioned pieces. She has combined her artwork with her love for creative writing to self-publish a series of fictional novels with her husband.
